Second-hand residential real estate prices in Spain increased +1.5% from March 2020 to March 2021.
According to idealista, the leading real estate portal in Southern Europe, second-hand residential real estate prices in Spain increased +1.5% in the 12-month period ending March 2021 to €1,784 per sqm. Despite a year of pandemic and a slowdown in transactions, prices have therefore remained broadly stable.
At the regional level, the Community of Madrid saw the fastest increase (+3.5% to €2,900 per sqm).
At the city level, Barcelona, Madrid and Bilbao remain the most expensive cities with €4,001, €3,712 and €3,051 per sqm respectively, having in that case seen slight price decreases of -2.7%, -0.8% and an increase of +3.0% respectively.
