Gabriel Buquet is Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Partner at Alfareal, where he leads the execution and day-to-day management of the group’s real estate operations across the full asset lifecycle, from sourcing and underwriting new opportunities to design, permitting, development, construction, asset management, and eventual divestment.

With more than 15 years of experience in the Spanish real estate sector, Gabriel brings a highly operational profile and strong execution capabilities in complex urban transformation projects. Throughout his career, he has led and managed investments exceeding €300 million, overseeing more than 100,000 sqm across residential, Coliving, Flexliving, Senior Living, hospitality, and tertiary assets, with a consistent focus on value creation and operational performance.

Before joining Alfareal, Gabriel held senior roles as Senior Asset Manager at Argis Living and Director of Operations at Persepolis Investments SOCIMI, where he was responsible for acquisitions, portfolio and budget management, technical coordination, relationships with operators, brand creation, team build-out, and the operational ramp-up of new assets.

Within the Alfareal Group, Gabriel plays a central role in pipeline generation and project execution. He works closely with the investment, design and operations teams, as well as with architects, contractors, public authorities, and operators. He also oversees operations at Trees Coliving and Harmonices, supporting innovative housing models with a strong focus on efficiency, user experience, and long-term sustainability.

Gabriel graduated from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, completed executive education at IESE Business School, and holds a Master’s degree in Project Management from Universidad Católica de Ávila.

As COO of Alfareal, he focuses on delivering high-quality, efficiently operated assets that drive urban regeneration and long-term value.
